One of Britain’s longest serving divers, Sarah Barrow, retires from diving after 15 years on the platform.
Barrow represented Great Britain at every level of the sport including two Olympic Games and three World Championships and three Commonwealth Games where most recently she won silver at Glasgow 2014.
During her career Plymouth-based Barrow won a multitude of other international and domestic accolades including nine World Series medals, was twice European Champion and more than a dozen national titles.
Barrow Said: “I had a long and successful diving career and achieved more than I ever thought or hoped I could with my career highlight becoming European Champion in 2014 the 10m Platform after nearly withdrawing from the event.

“It’s not the end of diving completely, I’m doing a judging course towards the end of the year and further coaching qualifications. I hope to continue working in sport and find something I’m just as passionate about as diving.

National Performance Director Alexei Evangulov added: “Sarah has been a great athlete and ambassador for the sport of diving and British Diving for the impact and contribution she has made.
“Sarah always delivered when we needed her to, she overcame frustrating injuries and was always a strong team player.”
