On the final day of competition of the British Diving Championships 2018 in Plymouth, Plymouth Diving's Matthew Dixon reclaims the Men's 10m Platform title after four years.
Dixon, who first won the Men's Platform title in 2014, delivered a strong morning prelims performance that saw him post a points total of 437.10 and went into the final as the top-ranked athlete.
His highest scoring dive came in the second round, an Inward 3 1/2 Somersaults tucked, where he achieved 86.40 points and his final dive of the competition, a Back 2 1/2 Somersaults 1 1/2 Twists Piked, scored 81.60 to secure the final gold medal of the championships.
Dixon's final score was 494.30, a personal best of over 40 points.
Silver was claimed by Matty Lee of City of Leeds Diving with a total of 485.60 points and Noah Williams of Dive London bronze after he achieved 431.30 points.
The other title contested on the final day in Plymouth was the Women’s 3m event and was won by Alicia Blagg of City of Leeds Diving.
A strong prelims saw Alicia progress into the final as the top qualifier with a total of 272.60 points.
Her leading dive came in the third round, a Forward 3 1/2 Somersaults Piked, which scored 69.75 points.
Blagg took gold with a final score of 317.70, silver went to Scarlett Mew Jensen of Dive London (291.40) and the bronze medal to Sheffield diver Millie Haffety (282.50).
