Burras bronze isn't unlucky 13 for GB swimmers

Lewis Burras added his name onto the list of British medalist at the European Junior Championships on the last day of competition.

Burrus came third in the 50m freestlye behind Swede Bjoern Seeliger and Russian Kliment Kolesnikov.

Tom Dean added to his medal collection with a bronze in the 400m freestyle earning a PB time of 4:18.07 in the process. Charlie Hutchison finished the race in fifth place. In a packed race schedule he then took on the 200m event, coming seventh.

Freya Anderson, already holder of the 50m and 100m freestyle titles then took on the 50m butterfly, narrowly missing out on a medal in fourth.

In the 4 x 200m freestlye relay Anderson, alongside Rachel Anderson, Laura McNab and Leah Crisp, finished fourth with Hungary, Germany and Russia earning their places on the podium. The men's 4 x 100m medley team of Nick Pyle, Archie Goodburn, Jacob Peters and Lewis Burras then came fifth in their final,.

Lily Boseley came sixth in the 100m backstroke final with Archie Goodburn in eighth in the 100m breaststroke. In the women's race Tatiana Belonogoff, European Champion over 50m came in sixth over the 100m race, one spot behind team mate Katie Robertson.

The meet left Great Britain in third place on the medal table with 13 medals - six gold, three silver and four bronze.
