Keri-anne Payne continued her successful return to top level 10km action with a third place finish in the final leg of the 2014 FINA Marathon World Cup in Hong Kong.
Payne made a winning return to international 10km action by winning the LEN European Open Water Swimming Super Final in Italy last month before finishing 10th in 2:06:29.03 at the penultimate leg of the FINA World Cup series in Chun'an, China on 12 October.
But the Olympic silver medallist was back on the international podium in Hong Kong as she continued to test out different tactics for swimming 10km races as she has done this season.
She was in the leading pack with just 300m to go and finished in joint third place with Brazil's reigning world silver medallist Ana Marcela Cunha in 2:05:22.2.
British teammate Danielle Huskisson finished 21st in 2:07:42.2.
In the men's event, Tom Allen finished seventh in 1:56:18.4 while European 5km champion Dan Fogg was 22nd in 1:57:08.8.
